Privacy policy

FeedHealth is a Shopify embedded app that audits whether a merchant's product catalog is healthy for Google Shopping. No Google account, Merchant Center, or feed app needed. Works with Shopify's Google channel, any third-party feed tool, or nothing connected yet.

This score is built from your Shopify product data — the source every Google Shopping feed is generated from. It is not a live read of Merchant Center.

Data we store

• Shop domain, plan handle, and the Shopify offline session needed to call the Admin API (including the installing staff member's name and email if Shopify provides them on the session).
• Product catalog snapshots used for scoring: titles, descriptions, vendor, product type, barcodes/GTINs, image URLs and ALT text, collections, locale settings, and related feed-mapping fields.
• Scan scores, issue lists, and fix-job history so the merchant can see progress over time.

We do not store storefront customer profiles, orders, or payment details. We do not connect to Google Merchant Center and we never ask for a Google login.

How we use it

Data is used only to score the catalog, show issues, and apply fixes the merchant confirms. Fixes write back to Shopify through the Admin API. We do not sell merchant data or use it for advertising.

Sharing

Data stays on our hosting provider and Shopify's APIs. We do not share catalog snapshots with third-party marketers. Hosting, database, and error logs may process the same records as part of running the app.

Retention

When you uninstall the app we drop the Shopify session immediately. About 48 hours later Shopify sends a shop deletion request; we then erase the shop record, scans, snapshots, and fix history. If you reinstall before that request, your previous scans are kept.

FeedHealth is not granted customer or order scopes. Mandatory customer data-request and customer-deletion webhooks still return success: there is no customer personal data to export or erase.

Your choices

Uninstall the app from Shopify admin to revoke access. Contact us through the Shopify App Store listing for FeedHealth if you need help with a scan record or deletion request.
